New Sharp Galapagos tablet priced at $780

You know how the saying goes – if at first you don't succeed, try again. Sharp certainly did give a fair shot at the tablet market with their 5.5″, 7″ and 10.8″ models from their Galapagos range last year as well as this year, but after seeing sales of their efforts being dismal, they discontinued a couple of models, leaving only the 7″ Galapagos being the sole survivor of the self-culling moment. I guess the Japanese company hasn't thrown in the towel yet by announcing the Galapagos EB-A71GJ-B which will arrive in the Japanese market which we talked about yesterday.
