Apple lets you work on fake projects

How would you feel if you were led to believe that the project which you are working on for a company is of utmost importance, until it is revealed to you later that this is all part of a larger test – to make sure that you could cut the mustard, so to speak. I do not think many would be too happy with such an arrangement, but according to the author of “Inside Apple”, Adam Lashinsky, wrote in his book concerning Apple's obsession with security.
