Robots help farm Japan's disaster zone

Robots help farm Japan's disaster zone

It is nearly a year since the mega disaster which comprised an earthquake and a tsunami hit Japan, wiping out entire villages in the process while killing thousands of people with its path of destruction that also turned once-fertile farmland into one that is ravaged by salt, oil and radiation. Sending humans back there to irradiated hotspots is not a good idea at all, so why not leverage Japan's technology in terms of robots, by deploying “robot farmers” to revitalize the land.
