Eye-Fi nets $20 million in funding exercise

I am quite sure that you have heard of Eye-Fi before, the manufacturers behind the first wireless memory card in the world, where the company has just announced that they managed to secure $20 million in the Series D round of funding which was led by NTT DoCoMo. Current investors Shasta Ventures, Opus Capital and TransLink Capital also participated in the exercise, and Eye-Fi CEO Yuval Koren also said, "Partnering with NTT DOCOMO is just one of several strategic steps we will take this year to showcase our enhanced customer experience and further expand Eye-Fi availability worldwide.
