This is an indiegogo funding project. Â The ThermoBuffer is “the world's first thermodynamic mug”, and it will reportedly keep your coffee at a perfect drinking temperature for up to 3 hours. Â Instead of a dual-wall structure for insulation, the ThermoBuffer is has a triple wall. Â The gap between the inner walls is filled with water, and the outer gap is a vacuum. Â The water layer acts as a heat sink to absorb heat from the too-hot coffee as it's poured into the mug, which cools it to a comfortable temperature for drinking.
