Samsung Galaxy Note 2 appears to be headed for Vodafone Germany, will cost €639.90

A couple of days ago, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 was officially announced at IFA. Unfortunately in its announcement, details such as a specific launch date and pricing and carrier availability were left out. Well thanks to the folks at Engadget, a placard was spotted at IFA which basically revealed that the Galaxy Note 2 will be headed for Vodafone in Germany and is expected to be priced at €639.90 which is about $800 when converted to USD. Presumably this is the unsubsidized price of the Galaxy Note 2 which means that customers who do not wish to be tied down to a contract, that is the price that they will have to pay.
