According to a report from Israeli newspaper Calcalist, however, the company may be looking to sell its chip business entirely. Amazon (AMZN) is said to be in “advanced negotiations” to acquire Texas Instruments' mobile business, a move that will increase the retail giant's competition with Samsung (005930) and Apple (AAPL).
