Audi's next-gen infotainment system will use Texas Instrument's Jacinto 5 processor

It was a while back that Texas Instruments announced that they would be shifting their focus from the mobile processor industry to other industries, like the automobile for instance, and sure enough it looks that way. Both Texas Instruments and Audi have announced a new partnership in which Texas Instruments' Jacinto 5 processor will be making its way into Audi's next-gen infotainment system which is powered by QNX, but is formally known as MIB High. Texas Instruments has promised that with the new Jacinto 5 processor, they will be able to offer up "stunning digital audio" and "feature-rich vehicle interfaces".
